Starting inland at 245 metres, the route takes you along wide forest roads descending to the shores of Loch Fyne. Mostly downhill this linear walk through Strathlachlan Forest, many sections of which have been felled, affords wonderful views along the whole of Loch Fyne and surrounding hills. Return CF transport to start.

Bring packed lunch. Sorry no dogs.

* Free optional transport from Dunoon: Return CF transport to start is available from Dunoon coal pier departing 0930: pick-up also from Sandbank P.O. 0935, Broxwood car park Sandhaven 0937, and Strachur Memorial Hall car park 1000 appox. (Limited to 13 walkers; unlimited for those with own transport to start.)
