Welcome to CowalFest Argyll 2018, your eight day passport to walks and events around the beautiful and fascinating Cowal Peninsula. Leave the crowds behind. Enjoy peace and tranquility amongst lochs, glens and mountains only 90 minutes away from Glasgow. This well established, annual walking and outdoor Festival is one of the largest and most varied in Scotland. Led by experienced and knowledgeable guides, we offer rewarding and interesting walks and events catering for all ages and abilities. In addition we have walk/talks covering a variety of interests, such as bird watching, heritage, geology, photography, and guided tours of Benmore Botanical Gardens. CowalFest Argyll 2018 is organised by the Cowal Walking Festival Association — a group of local volunteers, who draw support from the people, communities, organisations and businesses throughout the Cowal Peninsula.
