Social Walk: Loch Fyne Shore.

A mostly level, linear walk, with one gradual ascent through woodland trails, along the southern shore of upper Loch Fyne. Stunning loch and hill views throughout the walk. There is also an opportunity to visit the unusual, eight-sided Kilmorich Parish Church, in Cairndow.

Bring light refreshments, then enjoy lunch/drinks/snacks/ at the Stagecoach Inn, Cairndow, before returning to start on public transport. Walk finishes at Cairndow War Memorial.

Car parking: on forest road layby east of St. Catherine’s Caravan Park on A815. Return to start by 486 public bus, at 14:21 (8 mins.)

Optional transport to start: By bus with walk leader from Dunoon ferry terminal, service 486 Inveraray departs 08:50. Return from Cairndow by 486 bus Dunoon, departing 14:21, arrives dunoon 1514.
