Walking along forest roads, the trail rises gradually running parallel to the coastal road, affording lovely views over the Holy Loch. Reaching a maximum elevation of 500 feet, there are far-reaching views over the Firth of Clyde and Loch Long, especially after recent de-forestation. A gentle descent through mixed woodland and quiet lanes brings you to the village of Blairmore.

Dogs on leads welcome.

Lunch/refreshments are available at Blairmore Cafe opposite the Pier.

Return by hourly 489 bus to start or Dunoon, or walk scenic coastal road to Kilmun Church extra 2.8 miles.

Transport to start: Public bus 489 Ardentinny departs Dunoon Ferry Terminal at 0950 / Return 489 Toward hourly.
