Cruach Neuran.

Starting with a long, gentle ascent beside an aqueduct to a forestry road, after half a mile we take a very steep climb, boggy in places, up through trees to open ground. We continue to climb up a ridge over open ground with tussocky grass to the summit at 607m. After admiring a wonderful view, we descend steeply over rough ground back to the start.

Bring packed lunch. Dogs on leads welcome.

Transport to start:
Meet at Dunoon Coal Pier, at 0900 for car share to start and return.
