Newton Hill and Fyne Ales Brewery.
Easy walking up the west side of Glen Fyne, past the power station and gravel pit, to a forest road following the Mark Burn to the col at 370m, then to the Newton Hill Summit at 422m. Spectacular views, clouds allowing, with chance of eagles. A rough, steep descent down the SW ridge to a bridge. Easy return along the east side of the glen via the Fyne Ales Brewery at Achadunan. Possibility of Brewery tour.

Start/Finish: 10:00 Layby at old bridge over River Fyne, off A83. This is located at the top of the Loch near Fyne Ales Brewery signs. Grid Ref NS193127
